Our company was founded in 1988, ever since then we are involved in developing of laboratory instrumentation.

In 1992 we started the development of our first portable density meter D-921 - for taking measurements in the tanks without sampling. It was decided to use the floating principle as the basis of the device.

In 1994 the D-921 was certified and its commercial production has begun. Since there were no portable density meters on the market, which allowed measuring density and temperature directly in tanks without sampling, this device created a furore in oil and petrochemical industries.

In 1997 the second generation of the portable submersible density meters - DM-230 - was created.

Since March 2002 Lemis Baltic is ISO 9001: 2000 certified by Det Norske Veritas.

Due to the international market requirements all our products are CE marked. Portable DM-series and process DC-series instruments have ATEX certificate, so they may be used in highly explosive atmospheres.
